Chez Papa French Bistro And Wine Bar ❤

I always wanted to share this nice restaurant that I really like and now finally I got the mood.

I celebrated my valentine day last year at Chez Papa

not on the actual date but a day after so we can enjoy with not too much crowd & also, reasonable price hehe

I chose this restaurant - Chez Papa French Bistro And Wine Bar all thanks to tripadvisor - its rated as No 1 dining restaurant in JB with alot of reviews & photos. 

Address: 38 & 40, Jalan Jaya, Taman Maju Jaya, Johor Bahru, Johor

And indeed, Chez Papa does not disappoint me at all :)

I like the ambience, the lighting was dimmer and the environment is simple yet cosy.

starter dish - onion soup, smoked salmon & baked escargot.

onion soup with cheese as recommended by bloggers, it tasted fine & nice for me, while for my boy its rather salty.

Here comes the main course, match perfectly with the white wine :)

first, this is a MUST to recommend this one (pic above) - Tuna Steak !!!
It was my first time to taste Tuna Steak and its really supreme & fresh!!!
all three flavours - sweet, sour & salty were in it if I recall back its taste.
The inner part of tuna was red, half raw.
Cant describe well enough but anyway,
both of us fell in love with it at the first bite
in fact this was ordered by my boy, I din like mine so he offered to exchange with me, such a sweet boy hoho

this was my order - Cod fish steak.

I would not order this if I know the english word of cod fish (鳕鱼), #my poor english

bcs I dont like the melting texture of cod fish, the meat is too soft for me.

But its nice according to the boy, he still prefers the tuna steak though.

We even tried to cook the Tuna Steak ourselves but it turned out fully cooked (still tasted nice).
Cooking Tuna requires professional skills, we also ordered Tuna Steak at another restaurant but it was..not to say bad, but normal.
So Chez Papa does a really good job!

生活琐事

我真的好久没有update我生活的琐事了。

工作的却大大减退了我对写blog的热忱。

好啦，已经跟这份工作说byebye了，现在终于可以休息拉。

来总结一下我的2013年吧。

非常的大起大落阿，但只想分享开心的 :)

第一件：

我染发！长这么大，二十多年来第一次的染发，motiviated by我的好姐妹yunqi！

虽然蛮贵的，T_T 不过可是我最大胆的尝试，本人也很满意。

第一次染就染没那么明显的颜色，因为工作ma.我想下次我会尝试再亮一点的颜色吧。

再来就是跟hips姐妹之旅拉，简简单单relax的旅行，非常享受。

一起聊天一起穿bikini一起游泳（第一次一起游，爽拉！），一起去pub一起唱歌.

大爱我的姐妹们，期待下一次！希望可以一起出国 

再来就是我和另一群死党们的旅行了，以前在taylors读书就常和他们一起，

学贤欣颖floflo，那时他们也在kl读书，所以我们常就结伴，最常去xinying家住，

一起庆祝生日，一起搭public transport去bukit bintang玩，一起shopping，一起聊心事。

回忆阿，真好真温暖。

跟他们如果要算全部都聚在一起的话真的隔蛮久的，有四年了吧。不过总算等到这天啦。

我们去port dickson玩了一天，虽然时间很短不过很充实。

也非常期待下一次的旅行！希望有更多人加入！

还有就是最近的马六甲之旅。
吃到所有我想吃的，超开心超syok的。
来马六甲，第一个要吃的就是鸡场街jonker street的老字号鸡饭！
当天没拍到所以放旧照，我每次去一定要去吃的！
每每站在外面，一边等一边闻那香味就特别兴奋 lol
鸡，鸡饭粒，辣椒，对我来说都是顶级。

还有sataycelup，不过好像有点吃腻了。

另外一个值得我去马六甲再去吃的就是这个，

出名的siham！

位于jalan bunga raya的一个小巷口，在水沟旁，就在madam's king隔壁。

第一次去，我很喜欢，就很有人情味的小巷，很有味道，在kl是找不到的。

最后就是马六甲也非常出名的nyonya，点菜之余当然少不了饭后的甜点-Cendol！

Hari Raya holiday就约了florence~~ @paradigm mall，第一次自己驾车去，一切平安顺利yeah

聊聊天逛逛街吃甜品，

真的多谢她，我买了一件裙，上次shopping是新年的时候吧。

裙子也是她看到的，H&M, 真的不错eh，价格大众化，我之前以为它的衣服会很贵..

quality不错，而且size也fit我的身材。

其它外国品牌我每一件穿都松松的lol，所以难得这间有适合我的衣装，my favourite now :D

 对于我生活的琐事，莫过于我自己在家煮的饭啦。
从一开始的大学生活我早已开始爱上煮汤配饭了。
汤永远都少不了potato and tomato. lol. 不会吃腻的。
sardine，broccoli，porridge, milo crunch with milk my favourite!
还有第一次尝试煮的curry chicken，虽然不是很成功但已经不错~
常常也跑去找shyan一起煮，她家可以fry我的不可以haha..

  

 前几天吃了这个nasi briyani，@gem's restaurant at PJ.
第二次去了还是那么好吃,mango lassi超赞的。

最近也蛮自恋的，喜欢自拍，好久好久没在做的事了。

去gym

前天拍的，最后一次join company's weekly badminton,打了一个小时半才舍得回

买了好几副contact lens，hehe可以claim from company eye care，

就是为了claim我才去买的，结果买的根本不够多，剩下的rm300 claim就这样浪费咯lol

Freshlook daily color contact len-grey，很舒服带超过八小时都不会干

  

Freshkon monthly color fusion-pink，带几个小时就有点不舒服了，希望下次可以持久一点

My November

Life has been hectic since November....
My November is filled with all the stress from work. :(
not really happy with too much tasks, cant handle them well.
just like i said, i bring work to home everyday, even weekend.
but this is what i chose, i am always this serious.
dont wanna talk about job sooo much, i just hope that my life will be easier, given that I must be more familiar and geng and do things veryyyyyyyy fast.

But all this while Im glad that I have him who always support me,
he's the closest one right now whom I can always speak out to..
wouldnt want to complain so much to my parents, dont want them to worry so much.

 

OT is very bad, but luckily after OT i still have some enjoying moment, going for movie/dinner to relax abit..

thank him for bringing me out for good meal which can really brighten out my day.
now i even appreciate the existence of food, like barbq. lol. or sushi zanmai. thankyou.
other than that, I joined my colleagues to play badminton, which was organized by the SportClub,
that was 4 years ago when I frequently play badminton.
found that its kind of a relief after playing badminton that day, but body super painful the next day lol.
should keep this as my weekly routine.

and in this november, the happiest thing is that I went back to jb during my birthday!!!!
I miss my home so much!!!!!!!!!!!
got to celebrate with my beloved mummy who i share the same birthday with :)
my babe let me drive all the way from kl to jb, such an accomplishment for me hohohoho
a big big thanks and love for sister who brought us to an Italian restaurant..
we rarely go for western food and its a really special one! :D

then the night before i went bk to kl, sister brought kon and I for dinner @riverthai, our favourite barbq+steamboat yumyumyummmmmm.

hoping to get back to home asap!!!

the boy offered to cook me a fine lunch to celebrate my birthday :D
its the same spaghetti that i prepared for his birthday but he added two things!
the mashed potato and baked fish!

 I love to seeeee him cook! lengzai

 

though tmr is monday..

im telling myself,

no matter what,

you still have your loved ones.

they are my motivation, they are my strength to carry on.

and all these are Learning, precious experience.

jiayouuuuuu!

i still get to enjoy my days :D
