Appreciate

Quote from my bff shyan.
I feel so much as it’s so true.
If your life has a purpose, ok good just go for it.
If you think there is none, it doesn’t matter and there’s no need to figure it out, just live your life, to eat good, to sleep good, to watch a great movie, to be able to see the sun and beautiful stars, to cry over a heartbroken relationship, there’re just so many things to experience in life.

Appreciate is a big lesson for all of us, to let us go through everyday in our life, be it good or bad.

Well, update about my recent life.
Not bad, though 2020 is a year of COVID and many things that we couldn’t do.
I’m super grateful I got to go back to jb twice during mco, I went back when the interstate travel was allowed.
Both during March 2020 (before 1st mco started) and also December 2020 (before 2nd mco)
Feel so blessed to spend a lot of time with my family for few months coz usually I just went back to hometown and can only spend 2 or 3 days and I had to go back to kl again.
So gooood to eat homecook food by my mummy,  breakfast and fresh juice by my dad. Hang out with my dear sis and bonding time with my lovely baobeiss niece and nephew. Also occasionally talk to my dear gor when he play games, I must say he’s a great listener hehe.
I just enjoy every moment being spent with them.

So let’s go back to the topic - appreciate.
So I work from home and staying in jb from dec last year to mid mar.
There was a period when I was constantly under a lot of stress at work for around a month, causing me insomnia and minor anxiety.
Have to admit I have low tolerance to stress.
It was January, my schedule is packed with meetings, and i have jobs keep coming in.
Literally facing laptop all day and little rest.
Lacking of sleep and so I got abit negative and whining to my parents I want to quit if this continues.
But then I think again, I should be really grateful that at least I still have a job, still have income to earn.
I have good boss and good team.
And I got things to do and not bored! Haha.
I have my family who willing to listen to my rants.
Also what’s this to compare with my previous experience which I couldn’t sleep for half a year, it’s like only 20% against that XD
And well, the stress ends after we finally finish the budget making and I got to have a proper rest.
Of coz, it’s okay to be negative about something especially when you are in a weak mental state (maybe due to job/relationship/many other things).
It’s ok to feel not ok.
But everything has two sides isn’t it
We still gotta see the good side and learn to appreciate every little things.

Life’s like this.
Maybe we can’t change our fate, but we can decide how we deal with it, how we think of it and always appreciate.

Ok lastly a picture from my insta post.

It’s good to be back to blogging!
Before this I always share my thoughts on my insta.
Insta is more like a summary, while blogging I can write even more! Haha

Smoothie❤️

Have been drinking smoothie around 1week++
and I love it!
It all start from the day I join a complimentary webinar offered from my cpa membership.
The nutritionist talked about types of diet and also on smoothie, only then I know smoothie refers to juice made with a lot of nutrients (fruits, protein etc)
You can mix anything to make a healthy smoothie

I use banana the most hehe.
I learnt from YouTube by cutting bananas in pieces and put into freezer and they bcm frozen bananas
Blueberries, strawberries are also ❤️
For veggie, I personally think cucumber and carrot are the best one to mix with.
I tried lettuce once and I don’t really like the taste.
Yoghurt is must to have, my fav🤍
And now I use almond milk to replace milk.
Sometimes I will add oats&nuts into the blender too.
Smoothie is filling👍

I love my blender, used it almost everyday♥️
I also enjoy overnight oatmeal which is so easy to make.

Cheers to a healthier breakfast style🌈

2019 ❤

Hi my dear blog
Its been a long time since my last update
I'm good! :)

Not to say I am superstitious but I remember a post I read during 2018 which mentions the 1st half of 2018 is a bad year for Scorpion > 2nd half of 2018 it will get better where light falls upon them > 2019 will be a very good year

I gotta say my 2019 is another turning point
I have come to KL as per my plan (to be exact its Selangor but you know JB rang like me treat them as the same place lol)
Coming to KL was on my mind since last year Sep, I have set the date after this CNY 2019, around Mar/Apr and who knows by mid March, I am here!
Initially thought of doing grab at this city, my plan was used to be a grab driver to grab around Malaysia - KL,Penang, Perak, Sabah, Sarawak, its like a dream la, like going YOLO
But yeah, as time goes by, I realised I do not earn much for this job due to my lack of discipline, to earn a satisfying earnings, you must really work on timely basis (i.e. from 7am - 6pm), it must be daily routine with consistency.
As a sort of lazy/easy come easy go person, I dont really work consistently and
so I figured out that I might have to still find a full time job if I wanna survive in KL.
I puzzled in staying JB or KL as both has their pros and cons.
At first, I planned to find jobs in KL then JB and I will choose the city which I get the offer, I believe in affinity and thus I leave my decision to fate.
I got the interview opportunity and job offer during my one week stay in KL. And so, here comes my answer.

Its like an "Impromptu"
Everything happens too fast, I immediately search for the places to rent and just one week after, I am living in this city.
And I am still abit mind blown that everything actually goes along with my plan.
I set my plan to come here since end of 2018, it has been on my mind & heart continuously for several months until the realisation.
Always believe in law of attraction.
Things will naturally go with the flow when you believe in it.
Thoughts > Believe > Plan > Execute > Realise

And yes, things dont normally follow the exact same way you thought at first.
I never plan to find a 9-5 office job during the beginning stage, I always wanted to try exploring sales, but then I thought that sales job does not give me a fixed income (living expenses in KL is very high - especially rental), anyway I end up finding a job that I would not say its the best but its actually quite suitable for me - sales planning (not accounting job, job scope is focused on analysing and touching abit of the financial data, get to explore the management team & the sales team side)
Its my first time to be based in the sales/marketing side (as in my working place), in the past I was in finance team and apparently both departments vary alot in terms of their environment. I would say finance team is usually stricter/quiet while sales side is more lively and has less boundaries. After all, preference of the environment is up to your personalities & patterns. Past me prefer quiet and now, I prefer more noises, the merrier the better lol.
Though I ended up with a fixed hour job instead of a flexi time one,
I take it as an opportunity - to learn, grow and knowing more people
My previous job is revolved with more experienced colleagues and limited to specific group like admin/finance team. Current job - quite a number of younger colleagues, yes my generation is no longer young, sad but brutally true, and also get to know other experienced colleagues, in short, its good to know more people at every level - department/age/hierarchy/etc.

So far I have adapted to the working hours & environment.
Waking up in the early morning and back in the evening. Initially its challenging as I am really used to my previous timing (10am - 5pm lol).
My life back then can be described as supreme freedom haha.
Also, staying indoor and sitting at the same place for 9+hours is no joke, its boring, so I will walk around and occasionally I will walk out of the office to buy some drinks from the company vending machine, drinking and looking around, breathe in the air, this gets me relaxed. I firmly think that we still need some outdoor environment in our daily lives.
Human is such an adaptable creature, it took me one week to get used to this daily routine. (But I'm still not a morning person in my nature XD)

Most importantly, I just wanna enjoy my life, have more savings, travel to BKK & islands, I just wanna be happy.
May my 2019 onwards be good to me, I will still cherish everything in my life no matter its good or bad.
As usual, I will set happiness as the core of my life...

Just wanna share again my quotes here:
Life is not meaningful without purposes, find more and so that you find something that is worth to live for. Do at least one thing that aligns with your passion, that you feel happy and fulfilled by doing it ❤

My Grab - I love my job

maybe my family or friends think im abit idiotic or innocent.
talking to strangers and take one of them as my real friend.
yesyes I get that you are worried, but no im not an idiot, I am always alert being with strangers, I observe them all the time. I love you, and yes i will be careful muackxx.
erm i can only say, I have fetched approx 80 passengers so far.
and out of all of them, there is only one who I requested to follow his insta and be each other's friend.
why i drive grab, i love meeting people.
all kind of people, be it silent type, those who only wanted sit behind and chill and have their own space.
be it lengzai, lenglui (i fetched koreans...so lengluis okay).
I love meeting people who like sharing.
just like the nepals, who shared about Aamir Khan newest movie - Thugs of Hindostan.
The story is about the seizure of the India land from the British.
His english is not good, but I can feel his sincere sharing, I can understand him.
Sometimes, to be honest, foreigners (especially nepals, indonesians, singporeans-mind you all singaporeans i met, they are super kind and helpful when I was abit lost in my direction on my 2nd/3rd day of grab) as compared to the locals.
Locals are mostly silent, they just treat me as DRIVER. Yes their chauffeur.
maybe 30% of them are willing to talk to me, other than that, they prefer to have their privacy, and yes I respect them.

Yes, my family might think I am too innocent.
But sorry, humans are the last species I trust.
I trust humans 50%, yes be them my family, my closest ones, my bffs.
I trust them 50%, yes sometimes I trust those newly meet people even more than my family, believe it or not.
Coz, my family doesnt understand me and some friends i meet just recently, they get me without needing me to explain, to clarify. THEY JUST GET ME.
but no i dont trust them too.
I trust only myself.
I dont talk to all passengers coz I can sense their mood, their mentality level, whether they are fake or real or sincere or evil, so far 80, all are kind.
They are super kind and never complain about me, I love them they love me too.
Mutual respect.
I share my music, if chinese, I chose jay chou/JJ Lin..
if malay/indians, I switch to english songs.
I just want my passengers to chill and relax, have some naps.
If they watching videos, I will turn down the volume.
If they are willing to talk, I will lagi turn down... Coz I love to talk.
Hello I was silent for goddamn 365 days.
I need to talk to survive.
But only to the right people.
talking to wrong people will cause me depression. I need to protect myself.

I trust myself 100%
Another species I trust is DOG, DOLPHIN or CAT?
I love DOG the most.
I trust animals 100%.

Thats all I wanna share in case you think im some stupid/innocent girl who talks to everyone, who entertains everyone, who layan everyone.
NO, I only talk to people whom I'm interested in, who I love, who I think they are worthy, who I think they have brain.
I will be ULTRA LANSI TO THOSE PEOPLE WHO ANNOY ME, TO MAKE SURE THEY KNOW I DONT LIKE THEM.
Brainless/stupid/lansi/dirty-minded/shallow people, who always judge people based on their skin/face/blaba instead of the soul, inner side, pure heart, and always criticising instead of encouraging NOPE, I will share the "Lily Allen's - F You". I dont give a f to people who judge.
I love the nepals/foreign workers, they might be not rich bcs of their poor situation in their original country, thats why they travel far away to Malaysia and doing the jobs we refuse to do.
Yes, they are not rich in terms of money, but seriously, they are richer in minds than most of the locals. My sincere opinion after meeting so many of them.
